Our Lakeland jumbo drawing pencils come in 5 degrees from hard to soft (2H, H, HB, B and 2B). Use a harder pencil for fine lines and light shades, and a softer pencil for heavier lines and darker shading. 

The Jumbo range are chunky, hexagonal shaped pencils to make it easier for small hands to grip. The strong HB cores break less easily, so children of 4 years and over find them easy and fun to use.
