The new Derwent Embossing Tools are perfect for making the right impression.
Embossing tools are ideal for creating fine detail in drawing, painting and crafts. You can use them to make an impressed mark in the paper before pencil is applied over the indentation leaving it white – perfect for creating the fine detail of cat’s whiskers, veins on leaves or grass. You can also use them in craft work for creating impressed designs and in painting for Sgraffito work using the embossing tip to scratch away the top layer of paint to reveal the surface underneath.
The new Derwent Embossing Tools are available in a set consisting of two double-ended tools providing 4 different embossing tips from the ultra fine 0.7mm to a large 2.3mm head.
The embossing tips have a rounded ball end to ensure that the paper is not torn or damaged when the tools are being used. They also feature smart black soft grip barrels which are easier and more comfortable to hold and control particularly when doing fine work.
