Derwent has just added a useful barcode reader function to their iPhone App. So if you are in an art store and want to know all about a particular Derwent range it couldn’t be simpler!
Just scan the barcode on the Derwent product using the Derwent app on your iPhone and you will be taken directly to all the latest info about that particular range including helpful hints and tips videos and colour charts complete with lightfast ratings.
As you can see Derwent’s iPhone App is more than just a list of products. In addition to the hints and tips videos you can use the iPhone’s location finding facility to tell you where your nearest Derwent stockist is based on your current location. Alternatively, you can type in a post code or street address and up will pop the location of the nearest Derwent stockist complete with telephone number and directions on how to get there!
And finally, you can be inspired or inspire others in the gallery section. Just snap a photo of your drawing and save it in ‘Your Gallery’ and then, if you want to, inspire others by sharing it with the world in the ‘Global Gallery’.
