The new Colour Collection is the ideal introduction to the world of colour pencil drawing and would make the perfect gift for an artistic friend or even a treat for yourself!

Presented in a sturdy storage tin the new Colour Collection features a balanced range of 20 colour pencils, selected from 3 of Derwent’s most popular ranges and 4 complementary accessories. Each pencil range and accessory has been chosen to showcase a different drawing style, creative effect or technique. Coloursoft, the UK’s softest colour pencil, is one of Derwent’s newest colour pencils and its soft velvety core releases rich colour quickly making it perfect for mixing and blending.

The Studio Pencil is one of Derwent’s classics and with its slim core and hexagonal barrel it is easy to grip and particularly suited to fine intricate detail. The Derwent Metallic Pencil, on the other hand, is highly reflective and ideal for introducing a little sparkle to your work. The complementary range of accessories in the Colour Collection is perfect for achieving different creative effects. The Derwent Burnisher, when used over layers of pigment, provides a rich polished finish; the Derwent Blender allows you to blend two or more colours together to create a third as well as smoothing out colour so individual strokes and hard edges are softenened.
