A limited edition of only 500 has been made; No. 1 is being presented, as a wedding gift, to HRH Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton and No. 500 has gone on display at the Pencil Museum in Keswick for all to see!
Made from Maple with a beautiful Walnut veneer the Majestic presentation box is filled with a stunning selection of water-soluble pencils and blocks, drawn from Derwent’s unique, innovative and classic ranges together with a wide range of complementary accessories.
To mark the occasion Derwent has commissioned professional pencil artist Angela Gaughan-Owens to draw a portrait of the happy couple using the Derwent pencils featured in the Majestic box. A re-production of the portrait, presented in a smart gold coloured wood frame, is included in the box and is sure to prove a lasting memento of the day. The original drawing will also be on display at the museum.
The presentation box comes complete with a commemorative scroll, an individually numbered plaque on the lid and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by David Sharrock, Managing Director, Cumberland Pencil Company.
