As it celebrates its’ 30th birthday the Pencil Museum, in Keswick in the heart of the Lake District, is delighted to announce the launch of a brand new website with a whole new look, even more useful information, free kids drawing projects to download and now its even easier to use!

The new bright and contemporary design makes it much easier for website visitors to find the information they are looking for straight away. The new annual calendar gives details of the exciting and expanded programme of free demonstrations, the new artists like Ann Swan, one of UK’s leading botanical illustrators, who have been added to the programme of tutorial workshops and the great family fun days which are ideal for entertaining the kids in the school holidays.

There are even things for kids to do at home or while on the move with a great range of downloadable drawing and colouring activities. They can learn how to draw a frog with an easy to follow step by step project or create a colourful
dragon or dinosaur with one of the downloadable drawing templates.

The Pencil Museum is a great all weather attraction for the whole family and a family ticket, which entitles entry for 2 adults and 3 children under 16, only costs £10 while an annual family season ticket is just £15 and you can visit the museum as many times as you like throughout the year and enjoy the ever changing programme of activities.

The web site also has an informative Plan your Visit section which allows you to explore the museum and its’ facilities before you visit including the fact that the museum, amongst other things, is dog and pram friendly.
