Derwent Academy is delighted to announce the introduction of two new Collection Tins, Drawing Tame and Wild and Landscapes with Watercolour, designed to help budding artists develop their skills and improve their confidence in these two areas.

Derwent Academy is a range of art media, backed by over 175 years of Derwent’s experience of producing fine art materials. It features all the key art media from pencils to pastels and paints. They have been specifically created to provide the ideal introduction to the world of sketching and drawing with the perfect combination of quality and performance.

Each new Derwent Academy Collection tin contains an assortment of 19 drawing materials and accessories, each one selected to complement the subject matter and designed to encourage developing artists to experiment with different media thereby improving their skill and technique.

Derwent Academy Tame and Wild features 5 Academy Colour Pencils, 2 Charcoal Pencils, 3 Sketching Pencils and 6 Pastel Blocks; as well as a paper stump, ideal for blending dusty media like charcoal and pastel, a sharpener and eraser for removing unwanted pigment.

Derwent Landscapes with Watercolour contains 7 Academy Watercolour Pencils, a set of 9 watercolour pans, together with a paintbrush, an eraser and a pencil sharpener.
