Workshop - The Artist/Leisure Painter: Expressive Flowers in Pastel Pencils & Pastels with Angela Gaughan

Organised by The Artist and Leisure Painter, in association with Derwent, who will provide students with materials worth over £100(rrp). Materials will include Pastel Pencils 36 tin, Pastels 36 tin, A3 pastel pad of paper and a paper stump.

Angela Gaughan is a professional artist and regular demonstrator for Derwent. Angela will showcase techniques for Derwent Pastels and Pastel Pencils, including expressive mark making, blending, burnishing and layering of colours. You will learn how to use Derwent Pastels to produce soft, out of focus backgrounds and how to obtain detail with Derwent Pastel Pencils to complete colourful flowers. The course will start at 10am and conclude at 5.30pm

There are 20 places available and the cost of the workshop is £110(inc VAT) per person, which includes tuition from Angela Gaughan, Derwent materials worth over £100(rrp), a light lunch and refreshments.
