Build Your Own Collection FAQs

Find answers to all your question here about building your own pencil collection!

Please note, the Build Your Own Collection tool might run slow if internet connection is not stable enough. Allow a few seconds for each pencils to be added to the tin.

What does Build Your Own Collection mean?

Instead of buying single pencils, you can create your own 6, 12 or 24 pencil collections. You can make savings compared to buying pencils individually and you will get a tin to securely store your pencils in.

How can I save money with the Build Your Own Collection?

If you build a 6 tin, you will get 5% off from the price of the 6 individual pencils. When you build a 12 pencil collection, you will get 10% off while the 24 pencil tin you will give you 20% off. You can easily track your savings on the right-hand side.

What type of products can I add to the collection?

At this time, you can only create pencil collections, other type of products cannot be added to the tin. If you are looking to purchase collections that include accessories or a variety of mediums, please check our bundles and ready-made collections.

How many pencils can I add to my collection?

You can either build a 6, 12 or 24 pencil collection. You will not be able to purchase a collection if there are less pencils added than spaces available in each tin. You will need to fill all spaces before you can add the collection to the basket.

Can I save money if I buy a collection instead of adding individual pencils to the basket?

Yes, the Build Your Own Collection discount is based on the individual pencil price. When you build a collection, you will get 5%, 10% or 20% off your normal individual pencil price. When the individual pencils are on promotion, the discount will be added on top of the promotional price.

Can I save a collection to my favourites to reorder later?

Once your collection is complete (no empty spaces left), you can save it by clicking on the Add to favourites link below the Add to basket button.

Can I add more of the same colour to the same collection?

Yes, you can add the same pencil and colour multiple times. You are free to mix and match any pencil type and colours you wish.

I am building a collection and want to add more pencils, but I don’t have enough space in the selected tin.

If you are building a 6 or 12 collection, you can change to a bigger tin size without loosing the pencils you have already added in. Under the tin graphic, click on ‘Switch to bigger tin’ and select your preferred tin size.

I changed my mind and want to remove a pencil from the tin. Can I do that?

Yes, you can easily remove pencils from the collection while you are building it. Simply scroll up to the top of the page where you can see all the pencils added so far. Click on the red X on the right of the colour to remove the unwanted pencil.
