Tiffany Budd

Tiffany Budd

Tiffany Budd endeavors to create something a little different! She really enjoys creating paintings and drawings which have lots of colour, interesting shapes and movement. She has named her unique style ‘Fractured’ as it looks as though the image has been shattered (like glass) then put together again, almost Cubist, but still recognisable. Tiffany has also begun a Rainbow Animal series, where she paints extremely colourful animals-No brown in any of them! Colour is really important for her.

Tiffany went to Wimbledon School of Art for her Foundation Course and the University of Plymouth where she studied for a BA in Textile Design. After a long career as a Textile Designer, then an Interior Designer she began creating bespoke artwork for her clients. The art then overtook the interior design and in 2006 she became a full time artist. Tiffany now works full time in her characterful studio based on a farm in Surrey.

Tiffany has worked with Marks & Spencer, Boots and Argos to name a few, creating wall art and homewares. She was first Runner Up in the 2019 Up & Coming Artist of the Year competition run by the Fine Art Trade Guild. She is a Gold Member of the UK Coloured Pencil Society and a a GSA Member of the Fine Art Trade Guild.

Tiffany regularly exhibits her work in galleries, theatres and vineyards and has collectors all over the world from Wales to New Zealand!

She works in pastel, acrylic and primarily, Derwent coloured pencils. Tiffany uses her imagination in her artwork and unique creativity is what she loves to do, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with coloured pencils. Her favourite pencils are Lightfast, Coloursoft and the Inktense paint pallet!
